Found along the Big Gunpowder River, this Landrace was chosen for its texture and flavor as well as its uniformity in colonization and early fruiting period. I was pleasantly surprised to find this early on in late spring and even more so when I discovered a second flush in early autumn. Considering the intensity of drought and weather fluctuations this year, I think it's safe to say this one is well adapted to the chaos of Mid Atlantic seasonal swings.
